BackFence

The BackFence is a neighborhood email list that allows homeowners to contact neighbors about anything that is non-emergency. Before you sign up, please read the Rules & Etiquette posted below. This email list is a curtesy to our neighborhood and allows neighbors to express opinions and news to a limited audience. Please sign up to be included.

"When one neighbor helps another, we strengthen our communities." Jennifer Pahika

Simple Rules & Etiquette:

  • Messages may advertise the sale of used/recycled items.
  • Always attach a signature to your message so people know how to reach you.
  • Please don't challenge or attack others. The discussions on the lists are meant to stimulate conversation not to create contention. Let others have their say, just as you may.
  • Message should be appropriate to the topic.
  • Avoid sending large files to mailing lists. Use Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) or links.
  • Use caution when discussing products. Information posted on the lists is available for all to see, and comments are subject to libel, slander, and antitrust laws.
  • State concisely and clearly the topic of your comments in the subject line. This allows members to respond more appropriately to your posting
  • This is an email list, not an online forum. Once you hit send, your message is delivered into the individual email inboxes of every subscriber. There is no way for BackFence administrators or anyone else to delete a posting from your email after the fact.

VIEWS Newsletter

The VIEWS newsletter was published bi-monthly in the past. New publication dates will be announced by the board. As the VIEWS editor for the last 12+ years, I enjoyed working with many boards and my co-editors. There are many interesting stories and history of our neighborhood in the VIEWS archives. Enjoy!
